Sleepybaby.com.au provides information for parents with children who suffer from reflux & colic.
The reason I created sleepybaby.com.au was that I was a mother of two boys that both suffered from silent reflux, my oldest son is now 3 ½ years and my youngest is 1 ½ years. What I found was that there is a lot of information out there, but finding and interpreting the information is extremely time consuming. What I was searching for was information about what Reflux & Colic is? What the symptoms are? And what technique’s I could try or products where available to try help my child more comfortable.
Essentially, sleepybaby.com.au is a collation of all the information I have found to be useful during my years of research. I want to provide this information in a way that is easy to understand, as well as useful management tips and products that are proven help both parent and child
If my personal experience, information and products that I share with you helps just one person it’s all worth it in the end, as I know how desperate I had felt during this very difficult time.
Possibly my experience may seem very minor compared to what other parents may be going through but for me at the time it was a ‘big deal’ and there was little information out there at the time.
I hope the information I have researched and have provided on my website is helpful, but if you continue having difficulties with your baby it is important to seek medical advice from your doctor, paediatrician or other health professional.
I do not have a medical background but as a mother of two beautiful boys and with my personal experience I would like to recommend a range of products that may assist you as they assisted me through this difficult time. Remember what works for one child doesn’t necessarily work for another.
Having children can be the hardest thing in life we ever do, but what an amazing experience we have and what a wonderful joy they bring to our lives.
